California walnut pasta topper with fennel chilli and garlic crumb
Ingredients
- 150 grams California walnuts
- 360 grams Penne pasta
- 2 tbsp Chilli oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Garlic glove chopped
- 2 tbsp Dried breadcrumbs
- 30 grams Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water for 9 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place the California walnuts into a frying pan with the chilli oil and chopped garlic.
- Season with a little salt and cook on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes, then remove from the heat and place on a chopping board and leave to cool.
- Scatter the breadcrumbs over the walnuts and grate the cheese over the top.
- Chop the walnuts and transfer into a container.
- When the pasta is cooked drain and serve with the Pasta topper.
